FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take to make and receive my pieces?

Most pieces are made to order, meaning it will take 4-6 weeks to fire, glaze, and package your work. (Each piece must air dry for several days so it survives it’s first of two kiln firings!)

Ready to ship items will be sent from the studio in 1-3 days.

Shipping costs depends on the weight of your order.

what is your return policy?

All of our products are handmade in San Diego, and are one of a kind. All sales are final.

My order came damaged.

Simply send a photo to gardenstudyceramics@gmail.com within 3 days of receiving it, and we will gladly provide a replacement or refund.

how do i care for my pieces?

All our kitchenware pieces are glazed with lead-free, food safe glazes.

They are food, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe - however, we HIGHLY recommend hand washing them to preserve their quality (and keep it looking lovely!).

i see some variations from piece to piece for the same item.

All of our work is handmade to be siblings, not identical twins. Variations occur, and are celebrated!

They are all part of the same family, and we believe the slight imperfections in color, shape, and size make it more unique and one of a kind.
